Luckily, there are some hair styles and hair care techniques that can help minimize the impact of windy weather.
In terms of hair styles, you’ll want to look for styles that are relatively “tight.” For example, a French twist / braid hairstyle would be a terrific option. The tight weave inherent in this style not only makes it look extremely elegant, but it provides a shield against the impact of the wind as well. A low pony tail or scrunched style is also great for windy days.

Another tip is to use a deep conditioner frequently, perhaps once every couple of weeks. This will help to nourish and strengthen your hair, which in turn will make it less susceptible to wind damage. Similarly, go easy on the heat producing hair tools so that your hair does not become brittle and, by extension, more prone to wind damage. Also, use a hair serum when it’s windy outside, as this will help smooth down your hair.
