This is a lovely hairstyle, though quite complicated to create.

Whilst most updos can be created at home, this set of complicated curls was probably created by a hair stylist.  However, if you're sure you want to create this type of look, these kinds of curls are what they used to create in books like Little Women.  

You'll need to practice this several times , probably with a friend helping, and have plenty of pins & clips to keep all those curls in place.

Don't forget you'll probably be dancing quite a bit during the evening, so use some hair spray to hold it in place.  Pop a few clips in your purse to ensure you can tidy it up if a few strands fall out of place.
