Wanting to create a perfect romantic upstyle for your special evening is every girls dream, but
achieving it seems to be quite difficult for most. Long waves or short bobs can look amazing tousled and put
up with a mixture of grips, clips and bands.
For the best look to suit you, embrace your natural hair. For example, if your locks are curly, put some
defining product in it or tame it with a brush or tongs.
The Curly Bun and the Half Updo
There are two chic upstyles that will never fail, firstly there is the curly bun. This involves
tonging long strands and securing them with a grip. You can buy a bun mesh to make the bun even bigger
and stay in place for longer. Then it is up to you to decorate it with a little sparkle or fun
clips.
The second tried and tested upstyle is the mostly up, partly down tousled look. This romantic
look is much easier to create than the first, and can look more soft and pretty.
Start by tonging sections of your hair, then when you have finished put it up into a ‘ponytail’
on the back of your head, gripping some strands to your head, but letting other fall down. You may have to
recurl some of it as it may fall out.
