Welcome to our Prom Hairstyle YouTube Contest !

We're having our first MASSIVE You Tube contest.

With prom season coming up in 2010, we want loads of inspiration for prom hair styles & updos!

What To Enter

Create an original 2-5 minute video creating an updo hairstyle that's perfect for prom. We know you have loads of great ideas and are looking forward to seeing what style you come up with!

Contest Prizes 

With over $1000 worth of prizes, we're looking forward to some great entries from all you creative types out there.

1ST PLACE - Petal to the Metal Satchel by Marc Jacobs, from Net A Porter, value $400 (approx £300).  We fell in love with this bag, fellow purse lovers we will post a photo shortly.

How To Enter

• you must be a subscriber to the  Updo Princess Youtube channel
• if you're under 18, please check you have permission from a parent or guardian
• the contest is open worldwide, as long as you can receive mail from the UK 
• no inappropriate language in your videos, or they will be discounted
• you may enter only one video response
• we're hoping to add some of your "how to" videos to the pages on the site, so be creative & remember to have fun!

All entries must be posted on Youtube and entered as a video response to the www.youtube.com/Updoprincess  page.  If you don't know how to do this, check out this page.

The contest ends at midnight on 31st May 2010 (or 7am 1st June GMT)and winners will be announced by 14th June.  The judges decision is final.

The winning videos will also be featured on our website pages.
