Party Hair Styles for
2009
Parties are
the perfect excuse to go mad with the hair – unless of
course it is a corporate party with your new boss, but even
then Sedu will do wonders for giving the right
impression.
Adding clips
and other accessories will always brighten up any hairstyle.
This section looks at how to use them and how to use Sedu to
give perfect party hair every time.
Party hair can be made interesting by adding
flicks and curls to the hair. We've already talked about
how to add curls with the celeb hairstyles featured
earlier. Adding flicks is even easier.
Shoulder
length or shorter hair with long layers is great for this
style.
-
Blow dry the hair using a volumising lotion to give it
plenty of body (unless the hair is particularly thick, in
which case, a good, straight blow dry with a heat
protective lotion will suffice).
-
After it has cooled, pin the top layers on top of the head
and straighten the lower layers, curling the irons out at
the ends to give the flick.
-
Then repeat with the upper layers.
-
Either try and get a uniform flick all around, or do it in
small sections with varying flicks.
An
alternative for hair that is all the same length is to blow
dry with a large amount of body and then use the irons on
the lower parts to bend it all together, making one large
flick around the bottom of the hair, reminiscent of the
styles of the sixties. The braver you are, the larger the
flick can be!
Finish with a mist of
hairspray, or use wax on the ends to give it an edgier
feel still.
