How to Deal with Problem Dandruff

My friend who has had ongoing problems with dandruff says that the first thing is to avoid wearing darker clothing around the neckline where dandruff would show.

Of course, that's just a short term solution, but one that can work whilst you're trying to improve your scalp health and get rid of those dandruff flakes.

Whilst your dandruff may not cause you discomfort or be itchy, still those tell-tale flakes can get everywhere - often as just the wrong moment.

Trying the proprietary shampoos is the first option - pick one of those brands that you've seen advertised and try it for the recommended time.  Remember it takes more than a couple of days to really get to the root of the problem, especially if you've had a dry scalp for a while. So follow the instructions on the bottle as precisely as you can, and be patient.
