My name is Sherry Brister and I am CEO of Updo Princess.

I started this website with my daughter when we couldn't find any information or photos on creating great updos.  My daughter and I both write articles for the site and really enjoy writing about hairstyles.

Since we started the business back in 2005 we've always taken pride in the close relationship we have with our customers.

Our easy-to-contact philosophy has worked so well, we have no plans to change.

About Us

Our website is all about creating updos and hairstyles for special events such as weddings, proms, formal events and parties.

Updo Princess was created by myself and my daughter, who absolutely loves fashion and styling her long hair in different styles.

My first website was a site about poetry and poems - again, it grew from something which I enjoyed and has become popular since.

The name of the website came from the movie Little Princess, where the main character, Sarah, tells all the girls at her school that all girls are princesses.

What makes it different from other sites is the fact that the site is written by someone of the same age as many of the people who are trying to create these kind of hairstyles.  She also has a real passion for her writing.  We've added lots of photos to help people get inspiration as to what sort of style they'd like to try and create.

As Christians, we have tried to ensure that this site is family friendly - if you see anything that you feel is inappropriate - please do get in touch.

We certainly have a lot of fun writing for it, researching information, finding great pictures and realising that people are enjoying what they read.

We'd love to have more reader involvement- from submission of photographs and articles to a forum for people to chat and find answers to all their questions.
