Formal Hair Style for Longer Hair

Formal hairstyles come in all shapes & sizes, but the photo above is one of my all-time favorites. Whether it's your prom, wedding or other formal event - the formal hairdo featured above shows the advantage of a professionally created dressy hair style. I particularly like how her hair shines; you can definitely tell that it's silky smooth. Also, the contours of the curls on top are as elegant as they come.

Your stylist should be able to work with you to create this kind of bridal formal look. I'd avoid doing the DIY ('do it yourself') routine because this style is tricky to do. You'll also want to make sure your hair is in tip-top condition so that it will shine beautifully.
